Graham is church planting in Vlora, Albania. Circumstances change- compare the CURRENT URGENT PRAYER REQUEST with the encouragement from the 2006 newsletter!

February 2008: Graham Sansom has received notification that his church in Vlore, Albania must vacate the premises they have been using since 2003. The landlord can, apparently, get twice the rent the church pays and the church cannot afford to pay any more than they are.

This question of finance is a problem too in trying to find alternative premises. They do not want to downsize as they want the church to grow. Although very few members are employed and those that are working earn meagre wages, they do not want to create dependency on external support.

The landlord has offered a room above the one currently being used, and although it seems the church will have to accept this, it is not big enough for present needs- let alone expansion.
Graham says they are in need of God's love, grace, wisdom and faith.

"The church is in good heart, as we await the return of our student friends at the beginning of October. Eight people from the church were involved in the final year of Project Aero. This has now taken the gospel to every village in Albania with the Jesus film and the personal witness of the participants for whom it has been a life-changing experience."
