Sarah Margetts

Hi, My name is Sarah Margetts. I work with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in their training centre in Lausanne, Switzerland. www.ywamlausanne.com

YWAM’s main calling is three-fold – in evangelism, training and mercy ministry.

As an educator I believe God has called me to educate in his ways, and to lead people to become disciples of him. YWAM offers many different courses that disciple young people, training them to seek God’s ways in whatever area of society he has called them to.

Lausanne is the first training centre that was established by this global mission movement. Over the last 3 years I have had the opportunity to witness how God has used this base to transform the lives of many young people from around the world. It is great to be part of an international community seeking deeper relationship with God and reaching out to others.

At the moment I am currently serving in the role of registrar, enrolling students in courses and communicating with them as they take the first steps on this exciting journey. I also communicate with and assist those desiring to come and serve with the mission.

Over the last year I have also become involved in a pre-school ministry that reaches out to the local community. It is a fun opportunity to disciple young children and minister to their families. It also gives them the opportunity to learn about God and build solid foundations at the start of their lives.

This is a brief introduction to the areas of ministry I am currently involved in. It is my dream to disciple children in such a way that they discover the destiny God has for them and to lead them forwards in their relationship with God.
